Idaho Concurrent Care

Last Updated: May 2024

Concurrent Care Announcements

In August 2013, the State of Idaho had approved State Plan Amendment (SPA) 13-009 regarding Hospice Care for Children. This would put Idaho’s Medicaid program in compliance with section 2302 of the Affordable Care Act, which allows children age 20 and younger to receive hospice care and curative treatment for their terminal illness concurrently. The transmittal also includes the forms for this amendment and the amount, duration, and scope of medical and remedial care services provided to the medically needy. This may be accessed at this link and at 2013_Idaho.
