Job Opening: Health Policy Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship Opportunity ()

Post-Doct Research Associate

The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, College of Nursing announces an opening for a health policy post-doctoral research fellow to join our interdisciplinary team under the direct mentorship of Dr. Lisa C. Lindley. The candidate will be provided advanced training in policy methods (e.g., case study approaches); policy advocacy (e.g., state & federal Medicaid hospice benefit, key stakeholder engagement); and communications (e.g., research/policy dissemination, digital scholarship, grant writing). 

This fellowship program is focused on preparing the candidate for a research career. The University of Tennessee Knoxville is an R1, top-tier research institute. Fellows participate in research and research training, along with receiving mentorship to advance their program of research. The fellowship program is 2 years in duration with a renewal after the first year. Opportunities to purse an interdisciplinary, graduate health policy certificate may also be available. Our research group is focused on pediatric end-of-life and the selected person will work on NIH-funded projects. This position is available at a distance.

Required qualifications:

  • Earned doctorate (including such as health economics, nursing, psychology, social work, public health, or related fields).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, inter-personal, and time-management skills are required.
