Pediatric concurrent hospice care: How did states implement?

Since 2010 “Concurrent Care for Children” has been in place mandating coverage of concurrent care for terminally-ill children receiving Medicaid/CHIP benefits. How have States done in implementation? A recent Policy Brief has been issued by our R01 Research Team to assess the current status of implementation. Each state was thoroughly reviewed to find and analyze publicly available documents to trace actions taken with regard to compliance with the Affordable Care Act. Federal regulations through the Affordable Care Act require states to provide Medicaid coverage for eligible children to receive Concurrent Care for Children. The following Policy Brief is available for download via PDF format. For more information, please fill out the contact form on this website.
