Effective February 7, 2014, the U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Human Services issued a State Plan Amendment (SPA) (Transmittal No. 13-008).

The U.S. Virgin Islands does not currently have a district hospice and / or palliative care association / organization. However, the following organization may be of assistance:

U.S. Virgin Islands Medicaid Provider Manual

The U.S. Federal Government’s Medicaid and CHIP Payment and Access Commission provides Medicaid and CHIP in the U.S. Virgin Islands Fact Sheet, issued in February 2021.

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services provides information on how Medicaid operates in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The Government of the U.S. Virgin Islands’ Department of Human Services provides a link to their Medicaid Provider Manual. However, the manual is not currently listed on the site, but a 2014 document providing their Definition of Permanent and Total Disability is listed on the site.
