Concurrent Care Announcements

In September of 2010, the state of Missouri, through the Missouri Department of Social Services published a provider bulletin, outlining the implementation of Section 2302 of the Affordable Care Act entitled “Concurrent Care for Children.” This allowed for individuals age 20 or under to receive hospice services and curative treatments/services concurrently. The bulletin goes on to describe methods for reimbursement for providers and the necessary forms to be submitted by providers. This bulletin can be accessed at this link on the Missouri Department of Social Services site and is listed as Bulletin Vol. 33 No. 15. It may also be accessed at 2010_Missouri.
