Concurrent Care Announcements

Effective July 1, 2013, the State of Idaho approved State Plan Amendment (SPA) Transmittal No. 13-009 regarding Hospice Care for Children. This put Idaho’s Medicaid program in compliance with section 2302 of the Affordable Care Act, which allows children age 20 and younger to receive hospice care and curative treatment for their terminal illness concurrently. The transmittal also includes the forms for this amendment and the amount, duration, and scope of medical and remedial care services provided to the medically needy.
